Diet Lemon is the solo project of Philadelphia-based artist and producer Alexander Spagnolia. Known for his ability to fuse indie pop and rock with a sense of cinematic warmth, Spagnolia has built a reputation for crafting music that is both energetic and deeply reflective.

He first gained recognition as the guitarist and producer for the indie-rock band Mega Mango, where he helped shape the group’s early recordings and live shows. Since then, Spagnolia has established Diet Lemon as a project in its own right, releasing songs like lime, bugs, and always., along with the breakout single melt—which has surpassed 4 million streams on Spotify.

Outside of his solo catalog, Spagnolia has also produced entire EPs for other artists, bringing his layered and dynamic style into collaborative projects that span across the indie scene. His versatility as a songwriter, producer, and performer has positioned him as both a distinctive voice and a behind-the-scenes creative force.

With the upcoming JUNO EP, Diet Lemon continues to expand his sonic palette—balancing playful sarcasm with sharp emotional honesty, and further establishing himself as an artist who can turn personal reflections into music that resonates on a wide scale.
