Diet Lemon (a project founded by Mega Mango’s guitarist Alexander Spagnolia) encompasses the traditional rock sound, with sprinkles of indie rock, pop, and bedroom rock elements. His debut single “lime” established the artist within the genre of Phruitcore, and shortly after only expanded their rock roots with the second release of “melt”.

With only six songs out in the world for the solo project, diet lemon has proven to be a sound anyone can enjoy. After the release of “melt" (which hit 10,000 streams on Spotify during the first week of 2022) Diet Lemon hit an all-time high of 300,000 monthly listeners on Spotify in 2023, Sir Lemon only plans to continue making more music for fans across the globe.

Heavily inspired by the artistic designs of digital collage pop art, britpop and the musicial flavors of half•alive, hippo campus, and peach pit, diet lemon provides a refreshingly familiar sound, while feeling tasty and renewed.
